In Vitro Fertilization IVF
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is the process through which eggs are obtained from the ovaries and mixed with sperm in a dish. The resulting embryos are then transferred, 3 to 5 days later, into the uterus.
IVF was originally developed as a treatment for tubal factor infertility. In women with blocked or damaged fallopian tubes there was no good way to fix the tubes.
By removing the eggs from the ovaries and transferring the embryos directly to the uterus IVF bypasses the fallopian tubes.
While IVF remains the treatment option with the highest chance of success in women with tubal factor infertility, it is now commonly used to treat various other types of fertility problems.
IVF is a complicated treatment process. In order to receive the maximum benefit from IVF, protocols must be tailored to each individual patient. This is where the Advanced Reproductive Center excels. At ARC we are able to offer individualized treatment protocols, flexible pricing options, and money back guarantee plans that maximize success and meet all of our patients' needs.
